TEACHING PHILOSOPHY
Music allows students to express themselves within every note, rhythm, and artistic nuance, instilling confidence and a greater sense of community with their peers. Each student is unique and it is my job to bring out their individuality in order to better reflect their own voice. In order for students to play with ease and confidence, I believe in a strong foundation based on a proper set up of the instrument, breathing, posture, tone, technique, articulation, intonation, and overall musicality.
LESSONS
Private and group flute lessons tailored to each student's individual needs. Lessons are available to students of all ages and abilities in the residing Dallas area.
POLICIES AND EXPECTATIONS
Students are expected to come prepared to lessons with any relevant music/ handouts, notebook, and questions. Practice expectations will be measured based off each student's individual goals both musically and personally, and outside commitments.
ATTENDANCE
Lessons cancelled 24 hours or more can be made up. Should an urgent matter occur with less than a 24 hour notice, please contact me as soon as possible. Should a make-up lesson need to be made, I will attempt to reschedule within the same week. Any lessons not made up within the same month period will not be refunded.

Lessons are customized to the needs of each student with one on one instruction. Whether it is your first time playing, you are preparing for all-state band, or it has been a few years since you last played the flute, I am here to give you the tools to meet your individual goals.

Partner and Group Lessons
Partner and group lessons available to students learning to become more intuitive collaborators. This is recommended for students working on projects such as duets, trios, or small ensemble works.
